    Question

has anyone on here ever tried using a simple chipped ecu with forced induction and/or bigger injectors?? what were the results?
    what brand?

I know Turismo/Braman sells an ecu for turbo and 310 injectors that is supposed to work well, but it is $500.. a little pricey for a chip in my opinion...

The hard part about a chipped ECU is getting one for your specific application...Unless you have exactly what it developed with, your results may vary or you could even (gasp) lose horsepower. That was the case with my AEM intake and Dinan ECU. When I ran the stock intake, the Dinan chipped provided more power...but not in all rev ranges once the AEM was on. There were some areas where torque was higher, but the stock ECU chip produced 1.6 HP greaterpeak power. The only reason I've left it in is that at part throttle and the ECU in closed loop, throttle response and power is significantly better. As has been said before, get all your mods done then have someone do a chip for you.
